Yes thats my plans this very night, a leisurely drive to the wild wood and some normal Solstice Celebration on this Mid-Summer Night.

Yes, you celebrated your mid-summer while we in New Zealand celebrated our mid-winter. It seems that the appropriate weather in both places is absent without leave - LOL

I spent some time in the southern hemisphere in Queensland. It confused the he'll out of me.....?
I could not work out as a practicing pagan what Sabbats I should observe when! I came to the conclusion that it was foolish of me to look at it from that perspective as essentially the form of paganism I was used to is bound in the seasons and culture of western Europe and in essence that of the Celtic culture.
The sun was in an opposite direction and moon upside down. I got over it, yet a part of me longed for Scotland or Ireland.
Silly really!
I met lots of interesting people but never had the opportunity to meet and discuss with anyone who had a slightly similar method of working.
And yes the rain is back after some lovely sun and it looks like it may be here force good couple of weeks. Off to Florida start of next month for a spell and outlook for arrival is cloudy.-
