So it turns out that Ancient Britons may of used Stone Henge as a National Health Service.
The latest unearthed evidence claims that the sick and injured travelled for miles to be cured.
The famous bluestones, (dolerite), are believed to have some healing properties. These are the same stones moved from the Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire, where there mountain range is also famous for its ancient magical healing and holy wells, (150 miles)!
Futher carbon tests have shown that the original Bluestone Circle was constructed 2300 BC 300 years earlier than previously determined. Long before the time of Romans and Driuds!
However I am not one to show any doubt on any of the above; I think that if the ancient Britons went to the effort of constructing hedges and dolmens there must of been good reason. And why not make the reasons multi-purpose as opposed to rituals that take place twice a year at the solstices.
So the Henge Solar and Lunar Observatory, Shrine to the Sun God, Laterly a Temple used by Druids and Romans and Now a Health Centre.
Why Not all of the above!
