Well, my jury is still out keeping an openmind. I do believe that we as a race used to in effect walk with the gods. Whether one wishes to call them demons, angels, little grey men or aliens is a matter of choice.
I believe that we were influenced by energies in the universe and as we evolved we would make sense of them via the Zeit Giest.
Once we would see beings everywhere, faeries, sprites, brownies, elemental beings, Nephlim, Titans, Giants. As we evolved our intuitive vegetable bodies hardened to matter and we found it more and more difficult to communicate or see such energies.
Some energies will exist independent of man.
Some were created by man and exist now as archetypes in the collective unconsciouness of the race. We clothe these beings in different ways. While the energy of these beings may be almost fixed there appearance is not. They are more like Anthropromorphic Personifications.
It is dificult to define sometimes what we are dealing with, not that it matters greatly on a base level, if we perceive something it is real enough.-

Maybe that's why I don't see God in the conventional way, rather as a force of some kind - maybe an energy field of some kind, and like to pick and choose the beliefs of various religions that fit in with my perceptions, rather than following any one faith.
