WHY?

This was shared by a contact on myspace I do not even know honestly who they are - however sometimes words, images and sounds come from somewhere unexpected at the right moment.

Man invents war. Man discovers peace.
He invents war from without.
He discovers peace from within.
War man throws. Peace man sows.
The smile of war is the flood of human blood.

The smile of peace is the love, below, above.
Peace is the whole truth that wishes to enrapture humanity.
War is the whole falsehood that wants to capture humanity.
Peace begins in the soul and ends in the heart.
War begins in the mind and ends in the body

life lessons - i know all about these love these words - mankind is made up of such contradications. I love the song, by alanis morissette hand in my pocket

'What it all comes down to

Good/'Bad', depends on the persons focus, so i focus on good acts and deeds, to use a line from my favourite film Contact, 'man can do such horrible things and such amazing acts of kindness' (not exact but you know what i mean!)

It's polarity points. Until we shift our consciousness in our hearts, we have to have "war" so we think of the joys of peace and actively work towards it. Sometimes I think every generation has to have the experience of war touch them deeply so they will spend the rest of their lives seeking a more peaceful way.

For my generation, it was the Vietnam War that my cousin was in. He was the only one of his troop of 144 who came back alive. As a result, he raised his 3 sons to seek peace. Just some of my "off the top" thoughts. Warm hugs
