Yes the stalker and abuser is back again on Twitter - and yes they are reported and blocked.

And yes I replied and was reasonably obnoxious back.. Then again I never asked to be subject to a stalker or abuse, nor did I do anything to initiate such attention.

I realise that perhaps people cannot take responsibility for profiles that they claim they have no access to.

There is however a parental responsibility to ensure that their children do not gain access to the internet to continue their obsessive behavior.

My name is Jonathan and I will no longer tolerate online stalkers or trolls.
I will not allow my friends or self to be subject to narrow minded attacks, comments and postings. Whether it is here on Blog UK or other sites of Social Networking including Twitter.

I have and am currently subject to inapropriate postings here and have witnessed harassment of friends.

I choose not to give energy to the innane and purile ramblings of individuals who make underhand posts to score ego points for their own weak personalities at the expense of another bloggers feelings. I choose not to visit their tawdry attempts at self gratuity nor comment.

There is a right to post of course where there is just cause however to set out in deliberate attempts of attack persons or individuals and not have the honour to approach said individuals is base and judgemental.

I am free to post in my own style with my own interests and not be subject to attack as is the right of the individual there is no read to read if you dislike the subject matter, needless to say I would not willingly cause overt offence.

3. False and cruel profiles set up to cause upset will be reported as innapropriate.

4. Those who believe that cruelty and underhand comments and posts directed at friends and self with absolutely no cause is acceptable will if required be dealt with via unconvientional means at my disposal. Is the completeness of emptyness it is all energy potential and causation. It spans beyond the percieved universe, multiverse and is pandimensional.
It is formless and the attitude of Nirvana the concept of Buddhist Perfection.

On acheiving emptyness do not consider there is nothing it is quite the opposite it is allness Pan-essence.

This post is prompted and dedicated to Quemeneur Aubra Janis Steed and his family.

Leaf 21. The upper line reads: "Two things and double, but finally one is dissolved into the first and they make sperm." The four capitals. I A A T, are the initial letters of the names of the elements: Ignis, Aer, Aqua, and Terra. The writing under them reads: "Our fire is water; if you can give fire to fire, fire and Mercury will suffice." Along the arm appear the words: "The Art of the Stone is," and on the ribbon: "Swift, brief, bright, and rare." The two lines under the ribbon read: "Every hand is a key, because it was called the herb celandine"; under the Sun: "I am the gift of God " The verse reads: "So that you remain contented in all matters, I must listen attentively. My body [is] naked, clean, and shining, and I run like oil ready to drop, resplendent like bright gold, and then succumb to the plague in its bright and cheerful little chamber [retort]."

Leaf 22. The verse in the upper left is as follows: "This group is composed of three stones: lunar, solar, and mercurial. In the lunar is white sulphur; in the solar, red sulphur, in the mercurial, both; i.e. white and red, and this is the strength of all instruction." In the bottle at the left are the words: "Dissolving, calcination, sublimation complete the instruction"; and at the base: "Wash, congeal, and coagulate. " Under the central tower is written: "Metallic salts, however, are hidden by one letter"; around the bottom of the red circle: "Dryness, coldness, humidity, heat, and dryness." On the points below are the names of the four elements. The initial, I A A T appear four times with the same meaning as that already given. The three powers of the Philosopher's Stone are symbolized by the heads of the cherubs in the circle in the upper left corner.

Leaf 23. The writing at the upper left is, in substance, the Lord's Prayer, with the addition of the words Jesus and Mary at the end. The inverted words in the banner read: "Ye can do nothing without me, for God has so promised, saying 'So be it.'" The text under the angel reads: "By this plague he will be damned who knows he is dead, all cold in a black body. And let this be thy first comfort: then he will burn unto calcination. When I have reduced him within this door, know for certain that I shall be blessed if I shall know how to cultivate the garden." The main part of the leaf is devoted to an elaborate symbolic drawing of alchemical equipment, under which are the words: "The furnace of distillation, congealing, rectification, perfection, fixation: quintessence of the Philosophers." By "quintessence" should be understood the "fifth essence" of the most wise.

Leaf 24. The words at the top read: "I, the bird [the adept], speak into thine ears from the Sun, Moon and Azoth. The work is perfected with little labor." The panel to the left describes the nature of primordial matter and the drink of the Philosophers. The text to the right reads: "This is my beloved Son whom I saw and loved. If he be resurrected, He will remain at home, and in that house the spirit will be the soul and the body; for Mercury may be called the son of the Sun and the Moon." Under the child's figure is added: "If he were not dead, I should not have been his mother. I bore him after death before he was born in the world; under my feet I have what was his, and out of me and my Son and the foundation of my feet the Philosopher's Stone is made." At the lower left the three constituents of the Stone are shown elevated upon a pedestal to signify their dignity.

Leaf 25. Above the figure of the Queen are three lines stating, in substance, that in the beginning of the book it was written of her that from her maternal breasts she nourished the Sun, and that he who was capable of converting her into Primal matter possessed rare skill. Opposite the Queen's head are the words: "In the highest mountains this water" and "I am the light of the Philosophers." To the left of the Queen is an admonition to strike the sons whom she bears. She calls herself "The mother of the Sun, the sister of the Moon, and the servant and spouse of Mercury." On the right she is made to exclaim: "I cannot be crowned unless these sons of mine become ashes. " The sons are shown directly below. The verse under the Queen continues the alchemical processes, describing the method in which the exudations from the substance should be preserved.

Leaf 26. This page, which concludes that part of the Hermetic manuscript bearing the symbols of the Secret Work, contains a number of emblems not directly correlated. At the top is the head of the King--the most common of alchemical figures. To the right of the King is an alchemical vessel designated the Hermetic Seal. Below is the head of a ferocious bird, here designated a griffon. To the left of the King is a headless figure elevating a Sun, or spiritual face. This figure is the world, which must be headless, since its spiritual and rational part is not material and consequently, is invisible. Below is a circle unaccompanied by descriptive matter. Directly under the King's head is a vase of flowers, in which rises the golden plant of the Philosophers. At the bottom of the page is additional alchemical equipment, this also being termed a Hermetic Seal.

Leaf 19. At the top it reads: "He that comes to know this figure will have knowledge of the Stone." The seated man probably represents Paracelsus. To his right are the words: "I am neither tree nor animal, nor stone nor vegetable, but the Philosopher's Stone, trampled on by men, cast into the fire by my father, and in fire I rejoice." The four words to the left say "In dryness is the Stone." Below the man is the Philosophic Egg containing the words: "It is the end in which the beginning rests." The capital T stands for "Tincture." The text to the right states: "In Stone it is formed, as Gerber writes in his book very learnedly, and possessing so much of its nature that it changes into clear, living water; and it has the power to make folks rich, satisfied, and free from all cares, so they will be always happy if they attain by their wit to the secret."

Leaf 20. At the top is written: "Rains are made by six stars." Under the inverted man it reads: "Receive new spirit. Arise, for you are asleep." The two sentences about the large figure read: "Remember Mercury, for ashes thou art and unto ashes thou shalt return. I thirst and am dead." Above the seven globes at the left is the admonition: "If he thirst, give him a drink and he shall live." Over the small man is written: "Hermes, the father of philosophers." The curved line of writing to which Hermes points says: "The measure of the drink." Under the central pedestal appears: "The light of my eyes is a lantern to my feet." Below is added: "If the beginning is unknown, the rest is unknown." Above the figure rising from the flames on the right is the statement: "He was resurrected after new Moon," and under the eagle: "Thou shalt not fly further with me."

An Scottish man is having breakfast, in Paris , one morning (coffee, croissants, bread, butter and jam) when a Frenchman, chewing bubble-gum, sits down next to him. The Scotsman ignores the Frenchman who, nevertheless, starts a conversation.

Frenchman: "You Scottish folk eat the whole bread??"

Scotsman (in a bad mood): "Of course."

Frenchman: (after blowing a huge bubble) "We don't. In France , we only eat what's inside. The crusts we collect in a container, recycle it, transform them into croissants and sell them to Scotland " The Frenchman has a smirk on his face.

The Scotsman listens in silence.

The Frenchman persists: "Do you eat jam with the bread??"

Scotsman: "Of Course."

Frenchman: (cracking his bubble-gum between his teeth and chuckling).

"We don't. In France we eat fresh fruit for breakfast, then we put all the peels, seeds, and leftovers in containers, recycle them, transform them into jam, and sell the jam to Scotland "

After a moment of silence, The Scotsman then asks: "Do you have sex in France ?"

Frenchman: "Why of course we do", he says with a big smirk.

Scotsman: "And what do you do with the condoms once you've used them?"

Frenchman: "We throw them away, of course."

Scotsman: "We don't. In Scotland , we put them in a container, recycle them, melt them down into bubble-gum, and sell them to France ."

Animals in My Head

Needed to post something a little less heavy for me today, I was going to post Bad Boy Boogie by AC/DC then checked the lyrics and thought better of it....

Today is the first time in a while I have managed to listen to AC/DC without it getting to me! So that is progress.

I have been trying not with complete success to work through my chakras, feel the pain, address the pain. Sometimes it is ok other times I just fall down and be inside as best I can.

During the slightly more succesfull sessions I have seen some power animals. The Hawk has been the most prevalent so I am hoping to work on that and embrace this as a method of healing.

The image above was shared with me and when I seen it; I thought that makes sense to me. We are all connected and part of a greater all. Part of this earth and its life and energies.

Life is here and while we can go off planet for energies and avatars ~ where I am at is being part of the living earth and nature. Looking at nature can show us how to grow.

Have been getting some support and advice as well which has been really appreciated.

Was provided with a really nice link to the Hawk as a Power Animal. Do not wish to subject you to all of it I am not that confident at this stage.

These causes are very important, if nothing else our petitions raise awareness to the politicians that people expect proactive results.

What happened after I signed the petition?

Brazilian rainforest - Brazilian Avaaz members made 14000 phone calls and sent 30,000 online messages to President Lula's office in two days(!) and in the 11th hour successfully reversed a law that would hand over much of the Amazon rainforest to agrobusiness for exploitation - this was a major victory on climate change since the Amazon consumes enormous amounts of the greenhouse gasses that are warming the earth.

G8 Summit - last week 130,000 Avaaz members signed a petition in 48 hours calling for the G8 industrial countries to limit global warming to 2 degrees celsius - focusing on shaming 3 countries who were blocking progress. The petition was delivered at the summit to UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown along with giant personalized postcards.

Outside the summit, Avaaz members stripped down to green underwear in a humorous theatrical delivery of the campaign's message that generated substantial media coverage (pictured at right). As Avaaz and partners built pressure in Italy and around the world, the blocking countries relented, and the G8 leaders agreed to the 2 degree goal! However, they failed to agree on specific actions to make the goal a reality -- our challenge now is to make sure leaders live up to their rhetorical commitments with a binding global treaty at the UN summit in Copenhagen this December.

Iran Protests - our community rapidly responded to the election crisis in Iran with an opinion poll to gauge the views of ordinary Iranians, a petition to world leaders to withhold recognition of the new President until the crackdown on protests ceased, and a fundraiser to support technology that would allow Iranians to freely access the internet. The rapidly deteriorating security situation has made it difficult to conduct the poll (final word on that coming this week), but the technology fundraiser has raised over a hundred thousand dollars to support the best tools for Iranians to access the internet and communicate freely. The situation in Iran remains uncertain, and we will continue to both support freedom of expression and oppose those who would exploit this crisis to justify military action against Iran.

Japan climate targets - In Japan, we raised the alarm as the Prime Minister Taro Aso was about to choose a damagingly weak climate targets. Funded by small online donations, Avaaz ran a national opinion poll that showed that 63% of Japanese people wanted strong targets, publicized it in the press, in a full page ad in the country's largest business newspaper, and one in the Aso's favourite comic book. Internationally, Avaaz ran a front page ad in the Financial Times, and Avaaz members demonstrated and met with Japanese climate negotiators at summits in Paris and Bonn.

At last, the Prime Minister announced a target stronger than polluting industries had urged -- but far from strong enough to stop catastrophic climate change. So we redoubled the pressure with a widely-covered international press conference dubbing the Japanese leader "George W. Aso" -- comparing him to Bush for holding back progress on climate change.

Free Burma's political prisoners - Over 400,000 of us signed a major petition to UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon asking him to make the release of Nobel prize winning political prisoner Aung San Suu Kyi and other political prisoners his top priority. The petition was delivered in an extended meeting with Moon's office and in a press conference at the UN in New York. The UN chief issued a strong statement backing the release of Suu Kyi and traveled to Burma to attempt to meet with her, but was rebuffed by Burma's military junta. International pressure did cause the junta to delay a new show trial to extend Aung San Suu Kyi's prison sentence, but it will take much more pressure to secure her release.

United States and Torture - A global fundraiser and petition on stopping torture and closing Guantanamo prison allowed Avaaz to secure a giant, 9 story billboard just blocks from the White House in the heart of Washington DC to deliver our message -- but at the last minute the company selling the ad space refused, despite members of the US congress offering to help unveil the billboard in a press conference. Avaaz has now secured an alternative option for delivering our edgy message that will have Washington DC buzzing with our call for justice.

UN Climate Summit - At a major summit on climate change in Bonn, Avaaz recruited among members in Germany to help our partners organize a massive 500 person aerial photo spelling out 'Yes You Can' as a message to leaders discussing climate targets (see right). It helped raise the profile and urgency of these faltering but urgent talks. Avaaz also sent a 16-person lobbying/activist team to the summit negotiations and members in 10 key countries joined "negotiator tracking teams" that are following and responding to urgent needs to press individual country negotiators at these summits.

Peru - Avaaz arranged with local indigenous and top political allies to deliver a global petition against new laws that would cause massive devastation to the Peruvian rainforest and its people, taking out an ad in the national newspaper. The ad and campaign generated much attention, and the domestic and international pressure worked, for now -- the Peruvian congress has revoked the controversial laws!

Israel - As Prime Minister Netanyahu prepared to make a speech responding to Obama's historic Cairo address and demand that Israel stop illegal settlements of Palestinian land, Avaaz took out a front page ad in a major newspaper - Haaretz - delivering a joint petition from global and Israeli Avaaz members edgily asking Netanyahu to 'be more like Obama' and stop the settlements. Netanyahu has so far refused, but we're helping to build an unprecedented wave of Israeli and global pressure and attention on this issue.

The petitions, fundraisers, rallies, and lobbying campaigns our community is doing are having an incredible impact. Avaaz has grown by 50,000 people a week and is now almost 3.6 million engaged citizens in every country of the world -- and we're truly global - operating in 14 languages our community has 25,000 members in Singapore, 35,000 in South Africa, 130,000 in Italy, 50,000 in Mexico... There hasn't really been a community like ours before, able to rapidly and effectively mobilize people power all over the world to the greatest needs and concerns of all human beings -- it's a reason for hope.

The verse at the top of the page reads: "Not only must this material be fixed, but it must be allowed to enter into everything so that this material may be well completed and have infinite virtue. Then by making it thick, it becomes at once all white, sublimation from white it becomes shining." Above the sun are the words: "God and Nature do nothing in vain." The man on the left is a mediæval conception of Hermes, the great Egyptian philosopher; the one on the right is Christopher, the philosopher of Paris. Above the latter is written: "If the Stone is black, it is not useless." The words over the retort are: "There is air, fire, water, and earth." Below is added: "A dissolution of the body is the first step. " The curious chemical apparatus must be considered purely symbolic in this work and, as its author himself says, is intended to give only a hint of the "Art."

Leaf 18. At the left holding a book stands Aristotle, who is described as the most learned of all the Greeks. The tree surmounted by the Sun and Mon. is accompanied by the wards: "When the Stone is dead, that is changed to water, in this it will produce flowers." Beneath Aristotle and the prostrate human figure from which rises the flowering tree are these statements: "He who makes everything descend from heaven to earth, and then ascend from earth to heaven, has information about the Stone. For in Mercury there is something the wise seek, not invoked except by white or red ferment." The first part of this quotation is based upon the Emerald Tablet of Hermes (which see). In ordinary man, the spirit is figuratively absorbed by the body; but in the true philosopher, the spirit is so greatly increased in power that it absorbs into itself and is nourished by man's corporeal body.

H1N1 Swine Flu Appears Similar to 1918 Pandemic Virus; WHO Recommends Vaccines Use Live (Attenuated) Influenza
News about the H1N1 swine flu virus emerged this week. The first is that the widely-circulating swine flu virus may be a lot more dangerous than people have so far been told: It appears to resemble the 1918 pandemic virus in the fact that it is capable of embedding itself deep in lung tissue and causing deadly infections. This is very different from the more common "seasonal flu" which does not replicate in the lungs.

Explaining this concept, lead researcher Yoshihiro Kawaoka of the University of Wisconsin wrote in the journal Nature: "When we conducted the experiments in ferrets and monkeys, the seasonal virus did not replicate in the lungs... The H1N1 virus replicates significantly better in the lungs."
As Reuters reports, Kawaoka also added, "There is a misunderstanding about this virus... There is clear evidence the virus is different than seasonal influenza."

The 1918 influenza pandemic killed at least 40 million people globally (and probably many more). Also remember: That was a time when obesity was extremely rare. Today, obesity is alarmingly common among first-world nations, and obesity is now suspected of making a person highly susceptible to swine flu fatalities.
World Health Organisation gets aggressive with vaccination recommendations

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization -- always a trusty friend of Big Pharmaceuticals -- has announced that swine flu is "unstoppable" and is now directing all the nations of the world to vaccinate their citizens against the H1N1 influenza strain. And yet, at the same time the WHO is recommending mass global vaccinations against the swine flu, it also states on its own website that such vaccines have never been proven safe. In its own words (http://www.who.int/csr/disease/swin...):

"Since new technologies are involved in the production of some pandemic vaccines, which have not yet been extensively evaluated for their safety in certain population groups, it is very important to implement post-marketing surveillance of the highest possible quality. In addition, rapid sharing of the results of immunogenicity and post-marketing safety and effectiveness studies among the international community will be essential for allowing countries to make necessary adjustments to their vaccination policies."

In other words: Use the people as guinea pigs and see who dies first!

It's not difficult to decode the WHO's language in this case. The vaccines aren't safe, so they're recommending that people given the vaccines be watched closely to see what happens (who dies).

And just to make sure more people die, the WHO is also recommending such vaccines use "live attenuated influenza."

As stated on the WHO's website:

"In view of the anticipated limited vaccine availability at global level and the potential need to protect against "drifted" strains of virus, SAGE recommended that promoting production and use of vaccines such as those that are formulated with oil-in-water adjuvants and live attenuated influenza vaccines was important."

Inject yourself with live attenuated influenza!

What, exactly, is "live attenuated influenza?" It means live viruses that have been weakened, but may still pose a danger to human health.

Big Pharma, of course, is more than happy to comply with this order... they're getting paid billions to make the live influenza vaccines, after all. Notably, Baxter Pharmaceuticals has already been caught inserting live avian flu viruses in vaccine materials, and other druc companies are only too happy to follow suit.

But why, you ask, would governments want to inject their populations with live attenuated influenza DNA? And why would the World Health Organization aggressively promote such a measure, especially since the number of swine flu fatalities so far is exceedingly small?

There are numerous theories on that. I don't claim to know the right answer, but here are some of the theories being talked about by people in the know (people who aren't fooled by Big Government / Big Pharma propaganda):

The population control theory: The swine flu was engineered in a lab, then released in Mexico City precisely to cause a public reaction where people and lawmakers would demand global vaccinations. Those vaccines, in turn, would be intentionally laced with live virus samples designed to kill a large number of people and reduce the global population. All the deaths, of course, could be blamed on the virus; and the drug companies would get rich in the process!

The Big Pharma profit theory: Swine Flu vaccines are being pushed globally in order to funnel more profits into the hands of the drug companies. And the more people get sick from the "live attenuated viruses" in the vaccines, the more repeat business the drug companies make from sick patients!

The chemtrail / vaccine binary poison theory: Chemtrails have exposed the populations in major world cities to the first half of a binary poison. The mandatory swine flu vaccines will complete the binary recipe, poisoning people with another seemingly innocent cocktail of chemicals that just happen to combine with the chemtrail poisons and result in widespread death.

The do-gooder theory: [This is a favorite theory of doctors, drug company reps and public health authorities.] All those conspiracy theories are bunk. These vaccines are being forced onto you for your own good by an industry that cares about people and only has your best interests in mind. Profits and power have nothing to do with it. Your government is trying to protect you, didn't you know?

Walking virus incubators

Ninety-nine percent of the U.S. population believes the do-gooder theory, and they will gladly allow themselves to be injected with anything the government recommends (especially if people start dropping dead this fall and the population can be scared into lining up for swine flu shots). The upshot of all this is that ninety-nine percent of the people will then be carrying live "attenuated" swine flu genetic materials in their blood, creating the perfect opportunity for further recombining with seasonal flu.

Global mandatory swine flu vaccinations will, in fact, create a population of infected swine flu carriers. Some of them will die in the 48 hours following the injections. Most will manage to survive the shots and go on to become carriers of swine flu genetic material. With their immune systems weakened by vaccine chemicals and processed, nutrient-depleted junk foods, they will serve as walking incubation vessels for the next sweeping strain of influenza.

And no matter what happens, Big Pharma makes money! The more people die, the more power the government is able to grab through vaccine mandates, forced quarantines, declarations of Martial Law and other similar measures. A pandemic is the perfect opportunity to destroy whatever remaining freedoms the people still cling to.

Be prepared to protect yourself from the coming wave of gunpoint medicine (forced vaccinations). Both your health and your freedoms may soon be at stake.

Leaf 15. The first sentence reads: "The fruit of plants by virtue of the Sun, our Stone." The boy holding the dish is made to say: "Drink here all ye that are athirst. Come unto me, run to the waters. Here drink, without price, and drink your fill. Open your eyes and see the wonders of the earth. They learn, my thirsty twenty and four." Beneath the boy are the words: "In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth, and divided the waters from the waters. Bless the waters which are above the Heavens." The circle contains this statement: "The earth without form and void. Out of the stars come the rains." The lower left panel continues the alchemical process, ending with admonition to renounce the misery of worldly existence. Above is a prayer to the Virgin Mary which opens thus: "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord be with thee. Blessed thou among women.

Leaf 16. The first sentence reads: "The dead bodies remain; the spirits are freed by the death in the bodies. You will ride with that death with a scythe, and the light of the Sun, the Moon, and the fixed stars." Over the scythe is written: "Subject to the Sun, the Moon and Azoth, complete the Work." The four words in the curve of the scythe blade say: "Man's head, head of raven." The three lines to the right are interpreted thus: "This figure is called Laton, for it looks black in a vessel, and is the beginning of corruption." The text below the ladder states: "This is the ladder of primitive matter which when placed in a vessel turns black, the gradually changes to white by the scale [ladder] of digestion, according to the degree of heat." Here a ladder is used to signify the natural steps up which matter must ascend before it can attain to a truly spiritual state.

FREEZER BAGS: They are male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them.

PHOTOCOPIERS: These are female, because once turned off; it takes a while to warm them up again.

They are an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can also wreak havoc if you push the wrong buttons.

TIRES: Tires are male, because they go bald easily and are often over inflated.

HOT AIR BALLOONS: Also a male object, because to get them to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under their butt.

SPONGES: These are female, because they are soft, squeezable and retain water.

There are times when I have been the fried egg, times when I have been the sausage that curls around the egg and times when I have been connected to the meat in the sausage.

Last night while attempting to work though my energy, I was simply the contents of the egg, all be it somewhat scrambled within.

THE SECRET OF LIFE

The Secret of Life revolves around Cosmic Energy and Prana. These forces are related to the concepts of Akasha, Pranayama and the creation and nature of the Universe. Cosmic Energy is the vital force in the Universe creating all manifestations of form, matter and 'spirit'. This energy manifests as radiant, outgoing motion and the drawing back as gravity and magnetism. We reflect this Universal principle every time we breathe in and out. Our solar system, our galaxy and the Universe will eventually do the same but over vast time scales.

The smallest thought down to the densest matter is a manifestation of this Energy or Prana. When this Energy returns to its source the Cosmic Web or Cosmic Matrix is still there. It is also called the Aether, Universal Soul or Akasha. At the end of a cycle the energies that would be present in the Universe become passive and dormant. When a new cycle starts the Cosmic Energy begins again to create a new Creation.

The esotericist recognises that behind all happenings in the world of phenomena are dimensions of energies that can control and condition our responses at whatever level of development we have achieved. For those on the Esoteric Path awareness of Cosmic Energy must be conscious. For most of humanity the process continues without knowledge and consciousness. One aim of esoteric schools and Yogic philosophy is to bring consciousness of this Energy or Prana into realisation and with it understanding, control and utilisation. This process is called Pranayama.

Our whole world and Universe is made up of energy in one form or another. We are essentially a form of energy that needs different forms of energy to survive and grow. The right kind energy in the right form can transform us and keep us alive. The wrong type of energy can destroy us. Energy systems feed from each other and are in a continuous process of being created, living and dying.

Scientists and theoretical physicists attempted to define the nature of energy both empirically and theoretically. It was thought that the basic unit of energy and of the Universe was the atom. When the atom was split and its deeper quantum structure began to be understood the energy it contained was seen to be potentially infinite. Later, scientists then attempted to balance the theories of general relativity with quantum mechanics. The world's top astrophysicists continue to look for an all encompassing theory that explains how energy moves and transforms through the Universe or multiple universes. More recent explanations include string theory and super-string theory. These in turn may be superseded by M-Theory! There is still no agreement and all current theories are virtually impossible to confirm at this time through normal empirical research.

In current mainstream physics scientists are trying to find a theory of 'everything' which would unify the fundamental laws of nature. These forces are usually considered as: gravity, the strong nuclear force, weak nuclear force and the electromagnetic force. The problem of finding the ultimate Theory of Everything is that the various theories start with different models of the Universe. The theories of nuclear fission, the difference between gravity, magnetic energy and radiating energy, the actual structure and nature of the energy and how it is transmitted are some of the complex problems that need to be resolved.

In us energy works unconsciously and consciously as it relates to us as individuals. At times we make a conscious effort to shape, receive or communicate energy. How we interpret energy fields, forces and its myriad expressions is effected by the nature of our soul, our culture, mind and individual type. It is an active, radiating presence balanced by a more passive and magnetic cosmic element that creates the whole cosmos of which we may be the highest material expression.

We are continually giving off vibrations of energy in various forms and at different levels from the physical to the spiritual part of ourselves. We live our lives sometimes with others and sometimes alone. When we are with others we can be in resonance and interact with different energies from the two entities. Energy moves between us affecting our being and energy level in a variety of ways.

This interchange of energy occurs with all we come into a relationship with any living or inanimate form, organic or inorganic, visual impressions or sound, spiritual or sensorial. This energy force could be positive, negative, or a neutral state in between. For most people this happens in an unconscious way and the response can also be unconscious. As we move towards higher levels of awareness the energy interchange becomes more conscious. As individuals progress spiritually in their lives and become increasingly more aware the reality of finer forms of energy being passed or transmitted between individuals begins to become a reality. Our guide must be how we interpret the effect the energy source has on us. Is it the right kind of positive energy and does it enhance our journey to be who we really are and fulfill our higher destiny.

In some esoteric schools and systems that follow the Fourth Way of Gurdjieff and Ouspensky there is the belief that we can, in this life, begin to 'crystallize' our spiritual energies into a subtle body through special practices, lifestyle, exercises, love, discipline and ritual. The belief is that this spiritual way or pathway may lead to the rebirth of the inner or higher soul that is inside us. In this recreated state it is then possible to transcend the level of our physical manifestation and achieve immortality at a higher level of energy or vibration. This true 'soul' could then exist in higher dimensions in the Cosmic Matrix or other parallel or spiritual universes which only a few individuals are aware of during our physical sojourn on this planet. This is why in some systems there is a vital emphasis given to the experience of breaking through into a higher cosmic level or world - through the higher gateway or the 'veil of illusion'.

Leaf 13. This Page contains but two figures. At the left stands Morienus, the philosopher, pointing towards the salamander who "lives and grows in fire." Morienus, who was born in the twelfth century, became the disciple of the great Arabian alchemist Adfar, from whom he learned the Hermetic arts. Morienus prepared the Philosophical Elixir for the Sultan of Egypt, inscribing upon the vase in which he placed the precious substance the words: "He who possesses all has no need of others." He spent many years as a hermit near Jerusalem. The lines below the salamander are: "Let the fire be of a perfect red color; the earth white, the water clear. Then compound them by philosophical means and calcine them as many times with the water which the body had as to turn it white by its kindness. Having done this, you will have the greatest treasure in the world."

Leaf 14. The three words at the top of the left page are translated: "The man that digs." Above the birds it is declared that none but the cocks of Hermes, the two Mercuries, shall put hand to the plow, and only after irrigation will the earth bring forth her fruits. The seated man is Count Bernard of Treviso, who says: "Work the earth with Mercury." The three sentences to the Count's left read: "Go to the fire and with Mercury, thy brother, await me for a month. Crumble the stone I gave thee and I shall go to the fire. Thy death, my life. I shall net die but, living, tell of the works of this, my master." Bernard of Treviso in his alchemical speculation emphasized the necessity of meditation upon the philosophical writings of the great adepts rather than chemical experimentation. He ultimately discovered the "Stone."
